Shelby Signature Foods

On the heels of a very successful chili business (Carroll Shelby Chili) that was subsequently acquired by Kraft Foods in the 80's, Carroll has once again embarked upon another venture in one of the two things that he is most passionate about, cars and food.

Entrepreneur, race car driver and philanthropist, Carroll Shelby created Shelby Signature Foods in 2009 as a way to help support the Carroll Shelby Foundation. The goal at Shelby Signature Foods is to offer healthy comfort foods that are Best in Class and taste great, while also benefiting children in need worldwide.

Seeing the success his friend, the late Paul Newman has had with his branded line of foods and the positive impact it has had on the Paul Newman foundation, Carroll took that inspiration and developed Shelby Signature Foods. From his famous chili recipe to his special blend of coffee, Carroll takes the same "pedal to the metal" approach, incorporating performance, style and overall great taste into every product Shelby Signature Foods develops.

Mr. Shelby's team began working with various companies to select, manufacture and distribute the food products. Initially, they focused on organic and healthy products inspired by one of Shelby's personal recipes and have since added additional items that compliment a high performance lifestyle, such as coffee and snack foods. Many of these products are reviewed by the culinary school at Northeast Texas Community College near Shelby's Texas home.

The goal is to create a full line of healthy, tasty and fun food products that combine Shelby's legendary passion for performance with an opportunity for people to support a wonderful cause. Try out one of the products listed here and see if you don't agree that helping kids can also be tasty!
